Trevally

The trevally lives in the northern waters of the North Island, New Zealand.
Its colour tends to be silverish greenish with a metallic aspect and it has a dark spot above the gill plate. The fins are yellowish. The back of the trevally is blue green with a yellow sheen and its belly is silvery white.
Excellent fried, this fish is perfect coated in beer batter for fish and chips.
