Fish with Black Bean Sauce

800 g white fish of your choice

3 tbsp. black bean sauce (black soy sauce)

50 g ginger root, chopped

Small pinch of sugar

3 tbsp. oyster sauce

Hot pepper (optional)

50 ml water


1. Panfry fish on medium.

2. Set aside.

3. In another pan, brown garlic, ginger, black bean sauce and add the pinch of sugar, water and hot pepper (optional).

4. Reduce sauce to desired consistency.

5. Spoon sauce on fish and serve.

VARIATION: The same recipe may be used with all fish.
